Welcome to the Catalina Island Marathon, 10, 5k Virtual Run!

🟢 READ BELOW TO PARTICIPATE🟢

One of the four options we're offering for the 2020 Catalina Island Marathon postponement is to switch to our virtual run. You may run indoors or outdoors, or wherever you wish. Once you opt into this option, you are transferring your Catalina Island Marathon 2020 entry to the Virtual Run option. You will receive your SWAG bag in the mail and can submit your virtual run photo and results on our virtual run facebook page (see below)

Finisher Certificate will be emailed upon sharing of photo proof of the run in our Facebook group. 

How to Switch to the Virtual Run

1. Signup

• Go to the homepage of catalinamarathon.com and scroll down to the postponement message
• Under the message, you should select the option to switch to a virtual race. Then select continue
• From there, follow the prompt to log in OR add the email you used to register. Once you log in or confirm your email address, Just check the box next to where it says “Switch to virtual race”. Lastly, select save and you're in!

* You must complete the step in this section in order to receive your SWAG in the mail.

2. Share Your Photo and Results with us

Join our Catalina Island Marathon, 10k, 5k Virtual Run Facebook Group and share your experience with the community! Snap a photo of you running, use the hashtag #CIMVirtual and post it to our Facebook group page. You can also post an image of your results to the group page .(although results aren’t required!)

Have fun with it and show off how despite tough times, you still celebrate your fitness! 🙏🏃‍♀️😀
