New Date: 08/29/2020
The Run Catalina team, and our Island Partners, are working hard under these difficult conditions to provide as many opportunities to run and experience the beauty and challenge of Catalina Island under the current restraints. While we appreciate your disappointment in not running this past weekend, we are equally disappointed as a year of work, planning, and marketing has gone into this run by our staff and our partners on the island. As a small business and small staff who take pride in our events and the runner experience we provide, we are all looking forward to getting past this current state of uncertainty and being back to planning events for your enjoyment in the very near future.
The following are the four options for your deferral around the postponement of the 2020 Catalina Island Marathon.
These options will apply to all of the runs which were postponed, the marathon, 10K, 5K and kids runs
Celebrate our 43rd anniversary with us this year at the Catalina Island Marathon on Saturday, March 14, 2020.REGISTER
In cooperation with our host, Catalina Island Conservancy, the Catalina Island Marathon is a CUPLESS COURSE! For hydration, participants can purchase reusable soft-cup. Participants may also provide their own hydration system. Thank you for helping us reduce the footprint on the island!
In partnership with our friends at BibBoards every marathon runner in 2020 will receive a set of custom BibBoards to use instead of safety pins. It is our goal and intent to eliminate safety pins from Run Catalina events by 2022.
